Sir David Attenborough

Africa Talks discusses the consequences of caring – or not caring – for the people and environment of Africa.

People and Wildlife. We introduce you to the people who make an impact through their dedication to preserving natural resources, whilst benefiting the people who have to live off the land.

What is the difference between Conservation and Preservation?

Conservation of ALL our natural resources:

Conservation means the SUSTAINABLE USE of all natural resources, animal, plant, soil or water, in whatever form, so that they may yield benefits for mankind.

Preservation of All Natural Resources:

Preservation means the complete PROTECTION of all natural resources so they are NOT used or destroyed by mankind.
